Construction Practice

Know how to:
  1. locate the circumcenter of a triangle (acute, obtuse, and right)
  2. circumscribe a circle about a triangle (acute, obtuse, and right)
  3. locate the incenter of a triangle (acute, obtuse, and right)
  4. inscribe a circle in a triangle (acute, obtuse, and right)
  5. of course, you should know your BASIC constructions like how to duplicate a line segment, duplicate an angle, construct a perpendicular bisector of a segment, angle bisector, equilateral triangle, perpendicular through a point ON or OFF the line, parallel lines using the rhombus method and equidistant method!

KNOW your definitions for a median of a triangle and an altitude of a triangle. If you want to get a head start on Monday's constructions, we will constructing the 3 altitudes and 3 medians of triangles.
